Australian-based dubstep and freeform bass artist Felix Wiele, better known as WibeZz, has teamed up once again with Canadian vocalist May-Ah for their latest release, “DRIP.” Released last Friday, the track marks the duo’s third collaboration and continues a creative partnership that began three years ago at an outdoor doof in Australia.
After connecting at the event, WibeZz and May-Ah created their first song together, “Illusions.” Since then, their musical chemistry has continued to evolve, with May-Ah’s sweet, expressive vocals providing a striking contrast to WibeZz’s heavy and experimental production.
Known for his work across dubstep, bass and freeform bass, WibeZz has released music through a variety of primarily U.S.-based labels. His sound is constantly evolving, often blending tribal elements with the energy of 140 BPM music. “DRIP” reflects that distinctive approach, pairing weighty bass design with atmospheric vocal textures and an adventurous edge.
